This video makes me wallow in memories … leaving the Yamanote on our way to the hotel after just arriving from Germany that “Baden Baden” was an epic WTF moment. Went to the Gyoza outfit on the other side then, which was really great. But the area around the Godzilla statue changed a lot. I remember it almost at eye level behind a tiny Starbucks and the Midtown was nothing but a big hole.

Oh no, it's sad to see that corridor under the train tracks gone now. When we visited Tokyo in 2015, we went there for yakitori. It had amazing vibe. I was hoping to visit the place again in 2018. It's interesting to find out it's no longer there from your video! 🙁

@John the small corridor between ginza and yurakucho was still open last year in November but only 2 izakayas were still there. I think they forced them to go out due to the olympics. It’s a pity :/
